Siam Chemical Logistics Human Right Policy

1.Purpose

The purpose of this procedure ensure that the business operations of Siam Chemical Logistics Co., Ltd. be without from Human Rights violations, the Company has established policies and guidelines of Human Rights to prevent human rights violations in all activities.

2.Scope

These Human Rights policy and regulations apply for all activities of Siam Chemical Logistics Co., Ltd. (employees,  business activities and service)

3.Definition

3.1 “Human Rights” herein refers are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more.  Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination. Siam Chemical Logistics Co., Ltd. will follow Human Rights Policy of Mitsubishi Chemical Group strictly.

3.2 “Employees” herein refers to persons who are in a labor contractual relationship with the company regardless of names and types of employment.

3.3 Training: Training and educating of Human Rights

3.4 Discrimination: free from discrimination include harassment.

3.5 Harassment: Any behavior that would impair the dignity of an individual, such as harassment in the workplace or any words or actions that can be constituted as physical or mental harassment, which could make a person feel degraded.

  1. Process of training for aware to “Human Rights”

HR&GA department shall make Human Rights training and educate to all employees as follow;

4.1. Training Plan

For new employees (who’s newcomer): shall educate on orientation date by introducing Human Rights Policy of MCC group.

For all employees: shall conduct training program twice a year, and activity program quarterly to provide and update necessary knowledge of Human Rights in order to meet Mitsubishi Chemical Group Human Rights policy requirements.

4.2 Training & Educate program: Training program will take place off-the-job in a classroom, seminar, or workshop format. This type of training can be conducted both in-house and outside and will be conducted twice a year basis. Activities program includes sharing information in morning talk. When there is any update of Human Rights Policy HR&GA department will share information by poster or email. All program will be arranged by HR&GA division upon approval.

  1. Report Human Rights activities or Training

HR&GA shall prepare a report after completion of the Training or activities of “Human Rights” and attachment the evidence such as picture of activities or training.

Supplementary Provisions

Enforcement

 These internal regulations shall be enforced from July 06th ,2022.

Abolishment and amendment

 Abolishment and amendment hereof shall be in accordance with the resolutions of a meeting of the Board of directors.
